Brisket is one of those dishes you always order out because you don’t think you have the time or talent to make at home. I had heard of some pretty bad experiences from my friends, so I thought it just wouldn’t be worth all that trouble. But still, it always bothered me that I was afraid to give it a try. When I found this recipe I thought “now or never” – and now I’m here to tell you it CAN be done at home and without all the hassle! Go for it!
No need for cedar planks or outside grills. Use your trusty slow cooker for a brisket that is so tender, yet still has that crispy outside thanks to searing it beforehand. Serve this beef up on a bun with some extra juicy sauce and you have yourself a winner!

Quick Tip: Instead of hamburger buns, you could serve this with oven baked potatoes – it’s delicious!
